Introduction
On September 5, 2007, CMS announced that Wisconsin Physicians Service Insurance Corporation (WPS) was selected as the Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) for Jurisdiction 5, which includes the states of Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska and Kansas. WPS has identified VisionShare as an approved resource for Kansas healthcare providers who are required to re-establish a new secure connection during this transition. The anticipated transition date for Kansas is March 1, 2008 for both Part A and Part B providers.

VisionShare can provide connectivity to all available Medicare EDI services in Kansas including batch and real-time capabilities for Medicare Part A and B, DME, RHHI and Section 1011 for undocumented workers.
