Our Management Team:
John Feikema, President and CEO, comes to the company from CDXC Corporation where he served as president and was responsible for sales, strategy, product development and corporate financing. Feikema's professional experience includes three years at Imation where he held a variety of general management positions.
Most recently he founded and served as general manager for Imation's fast-growing digital asset management practice. This division creates products and services that allow Fortune 500 companies to efficiently manage large quantities of digital media files and documents.
Prior to his experience at Imation, Feikema spent 17 years in various management roles at 3M. During his time at 3M he worked with divisions that took advantage of the company's industry-leading market positions in printing and medical imaging and helped create and enhance new digital businesses in these markets. Jack Hauser, Vice President of Finance and Administration directs the company's financial and accounting functions, including credit and collections, treasury, financial planning, and other administrative duties. Hauser also manages the investor relations functions.
Hauser, a licensed CPA, has over 20 years of financial experience, most recently as a Principal and CFO for Andcor Companies Inc. At Andcor, Jack worked with emerging growth companies to attract board members, advisors, investors and key executives that could ensure the continued growth and success of the companies with whom he was working. He also managed Andcor’s investment portfolio and led its investment in emerging growth businesses. Prior to Andcor, Jack was a Senior Vice President for Hanrow Financial Group, a Minneapolis based merchant banking and venture investment firm and held positions with US Bank and Ernst & Young.
Nicole Manderscheid- VP of Human Resources, is responsible for providing human resource leadership for VisionShare. HR leadership includes aligning HR practices with VisionShare’s overarching strategy and acquiring and developing talented people to ensure that the organization is positioned for future success. Nicole, a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), has more than ten years of human resource experience, most recently as Director of Human Resources at Stellent, Inc., a global provider of content management software.
Prior to Stellent, Nicole was the Human Resource Manager for The TesseracT Group, an education management company. Nicole holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from St. CloudStateUniversity and a Masters of Art degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. nicole.manderscheid@visionshareinc.com
Steve Smerz, Vice President – Technical Operations, is responsible for overseeing product development, technical services, payer technical services, system architecture and the physical infrastructure for the VisionShare suite of products and services.
Steve joins the company most recently from Definity Health Corporation where he served as CIO. At Definity, Steve was responsible for all of the technology aspects of the high-growth consumer-driven health plan organization. He was one of the key members that facilitated the sale and integration of the organization to United Health Group (UHG).
Steve’s 23-year technology-focused career has given him exposure to many high-tech environments in various industries. Steve has worked for leading companies such as Lawson Software, Burlington Northern, Sante Fe Railways and Sheraton Hotels. He has also provided strategic technology consulting services to large healthcare industry leaders such as Aetna, Wellpoint/Anthem and Cigna. Pam Bednar- Vice President of Marketing- Pam began her career in the media working in both publishing and broadcasting, but was quickly hooked into the ever-changing world of high-tech marketing. And she hasn’t looked back. For more than 15 years, Pam has been establishing emerging technology companies in both domestic and global markets. Practiced in marketing communications, product marketing and product management, Pam is responsible for full product life cycle marketing – from building teams and product requirements to defining markets and finding innovative ways to attract business.
At Ontrack Data International, Pam led the marketing team through rapid corporate expansion into global markets, guided numerous software and service launches, integrated product line acquisitions, and directed the marketing efforts through a highly successful IPO. Her work on the Ontrack partner program was recognized with an Apex Communicator Award. Recruited to PDI, Pam was charged with introducing product management as a corporate discipline and building a new web-based software product business for the company.
Pam’s passion for marketing technology is matched by her commitment to helping others get the tools they need to excel.
